1. The Government of the Republic of Korea welcomes the peace agreement signed on September 26 between the Colombian government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC).

2. The Government of the Republic of Korea take note of the signed peace agreement as a historic achievement marking the end of the more-than-50-year-long civil war in Colombia and hopes for an early establishment of peace and stability in the country.

3. Going forward, the Government of the Republic of Korea will take an active part in international efforts to help Colombia achieve social stability and reconstruct itself.
